Our History

Founded in 1993, Soap Warehouse has been in the Atlanta area moving it's location, from Norcross to Tucker and now back again to Norcross as a part of GCE. Soap Warehouse started with transportation detergents and has over the years expanded into handling products covering over nine different niche cleaning areas. In 2016 Soap Warehouse was bought as the soap brand for Georgia Chemical Equipment, so whether you are a mobile fleet washer, exterior pressure washer, or owner of a dry cleaner GCE/Soap Warehouse brand should have the type of cleaning equipment and products you are looking for. We are members of a number of industry trade organizations and work to give back to the customers and industries we serve by sponsoring events, writing articles, posting information in our blog, on forums or just by answering questions about products in general. We also donate soaps to charitable organizations or when customers donate their time to charitable cleaning projects like, "Clean Across North America".

About The Staff

Linda Chambers was the office manager and brand sales manager of Soap Warehouse since 2007 and moved with the company to GCE in 2016 as the Brand and Sales Manager. She started out in the veterinary health care field but after years as a tech, office manager and moving into the corporate sector, working for Merial, makers of Heartgard and Frontline, she landed back out managing retail stores and then as a human resource manager at a local DirecTV franchise. After the sale of that business to another owner she came to work for Soap Warehouse and moved with it when it was sold to GCE. During her career, Linda has also owned and run her own businesses and has been an OSHA compliance manager at a number of the companies she has worked for.

Michael Brown is the owner and president of Georgia Chemical Equipment. First coming to work for the company and then eventually buying it from the owner, GCE has been in business for over 44 years. He started in the restaurant industry managing kitchens and whole restaurants before moving to Atlanta and working for GCE that was at that time owned by his Father-in-law.

Terri Beynon is the office receptionist and account manager. She has been with GCE since 2015 and is the smiling face of the office when you enter our store.

Laura Wolff is part of our accounts staff and works from home and part time inside the office.

Jarred Foster is our Service Manager. Jarred has years of experience running his own businesses, working with paint sprayers, pressure washers and pumps. We are glad to have him join our team.
